New Business Manager - E&O and Personal Liability Products

Overview
The New Business Manager is responsible for generating new business through a combination of inbound and outbound sales activities. This role focuses on selling Errors & Omissions (E&O), Professional Liability, Personal Liability, and other specialty insurance products to clients across multiple industry segments.
This position requires excellent communication skills, strong consultative selling abilities, and the discipline to work independently while consistently achieving sales and service objectives.

How you'll make an impact
Sales & Business Development
- Manage a high volume of inbound sales calls and convert qualified prospects into policyholders.
- Conduct outbound sales calls to prospects, leads, referral partners, and existing customers.
- Identify customer insurance needs and recommend appropriate E&O, professional liability, and personal liability insurance solutions.
- Generate quotes, explain coverage options, and present proposals in a clear and professional manner.
- Follow up on quotes, applications, and outstanding opportunities to maximize conversion rates.
- Cross-sell and upsell complementary insurance products when appropriate.
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline through consistent prospecting and lead management.
Customer Service & Relationship Management
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
- Build trust and long-term relationships with clients through proactive communication.
- Educate customers on policy features, benefits, exclusions, and coverage limits.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and requests.
- Assist clients through the application and policy issuance process.
Administrative & Compliance Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions within agency management and CRM systems.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with carrier guidelines, licensing requirements, and company standards.
- Complete required training and stay current on product knowledge, underwriting requirements, and industry trends.
- Meet quality assurance and documentation standards.
About You
- Active Property & Casualty Insurance License preferred or ability to obtain required licensing.
- Previous insurance sales experience preferred.
- Strong phone sales and closing skills.
- Experience handling inbound and outbound sales calls.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
