Overview

This role helps employees get the HR support they need, when they need it. As a Bilingual HR Specialist, you will provide clear, caring, and accurate support across HR programs, systems, and employee questions. Your work will help create a smooth employee experience, from onboarding through day-to-day support and routine HR updates. How you'll make an impact

  • Respond to employee requests and questions with professionalism, care, and attention to detail. 
  • Support employees throughout onboarding and the employee lifecycle by providing timely guidance and information. 
  • Process employee transactions and updates in Oracle, ensuring data is accurate, complete, and handled confidentially. 
  • Provide first-level support for HR tools, processes, programs, and routine employee inquiries. 
  • Resolve routine issues, document activity, and track work through the ticketing system. 
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, workflows, and the employee experience. 
  • Prepare reports, gather information, and maintain employee records, policy materials, and HR communications as needed. 
  • Support HR functional areas such as recruitment, staffing, employee records, employee relations, compensation, training, and compliance activities as needed. 

About you

  • Have 2+ years of experience supporting HR programs, processes, operations, or a related field.
  • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Have experience working with HR systems and processing employee-related transactions.
  • Are proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook.
  • Bring a customer-focused mindset and enjoy helping others.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, while handling sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Adapt quickly to new tools, systems, and processes, and are eager to learn.
  • Advanced proficiency in English and French.
