Location: Holland, MI


Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving / Logistics Coordinator in Holland, MI. This is a critical on-site role responsible for managing all incoming and outgoing shipments, coordinating material flow throughout the facility, and maintaining strong working relationships with internal teams, carriers, and vendors. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Responsibilities

  • Validate all incoming shipments, verify supplier paperwork, purchase orders, and physical quantities received match all records
  • Resolve shipment discrepancies with the Purchasing team in a timely manner
  • Schedule all LTL freight, FedEx, and UPS pick-ups and deliveries
  • Adhere to all client shipping guidelines including routing and packaging instructions
  • Coordinate with purchasing, accounting, engineering, and build teams to support continuous material flow
  • Engage build team and engineers in Quality Control review on all incoming shipments
  • Deliver timely communication on shipment exceptions, status updates, tracking information, and claim details
  • Accurately route and file all purchasing, receiving, and accounting documentation
  • Process problem invoices through internal platforms
  • Initiate and manage return (PRS) processes including logging and tracking root cause reason codes
  • Deliver materials to job shelves throughout the facility in support of the line side stocking program
  • Stage skids and bulk material to plant locations based on point of use stocking program
  • Perform material check-in process to confirm delivery to the build team
  • Load and unload machinery and equipment from all types of trucks and trailers
  • Track and manage fleet car sign-out at the facility
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by Supervisor

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a business, logistics, material management, or supply chain environment
  • Logistics, Material Management, or Supply Chain background preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be willing to obtain Hi-Lo (Forklift) and Overhead Crane certification while employed
  • Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and professional in all interactions

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
