Industrial Electrician – Machine Tool / Automation
Contract Position
Project Dates: Sept 3rd to Sept 9th
Location: Toledo, OH
We are seeking experienced Industrial Electricians for a machine tool manufacturing and automation project. Candidates must be capable of working independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced industrial environment.
This role is ideal for electricians with experience wiring automated machinery, robotic systems, control panels, and 480V industrial equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Wire machinery from electrical drawings and bills of material
Wire and assemble electrical control panels
Install communication blocks and Ethernet wiring
Wire auxiliary power systems
Wire robots and robotic cells
Install and wire safety circuits
Perform 480V electrical connections
Tie in tools and complete final dress of tooling to controls
Install temporary power
Bend and install conduit
Prepare tooling with I/O blocks, DeviceNet, and duct work
Verify tags, units, cords, and wiring accuracy
Run cords and dress tooling to customer specifications
Drill, tap, and ream holes as required
Utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively
Required Experience & Skills
Experience working with 480V electrical systems
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
Machine tool or industrial automation experience required
Experience wiring machinery, panels, and industrial controls
Familiarity with Ethernet wiring and industrial communication systems
Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude preferred
