Summary:
As an IT Service Management Representative, a typical day involves overseeing the delivery and smooth operation of IT production systems and services. This role requires continuous monitoring and support to ensure that infrastructure services remain reliable and available. The individual actively manages the service lifecycle, addressing any issues that arise to maintain client satisfaction and minimize risks. Collaboration with various teams to coordinate operational activities and promptly resolve challenges is a key aspect of the daily routine, ensuring that production environments function efficiently and without interruption.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of service delivery with business objectives.
- Monitor service performance and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and development.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Incident Management.
- Strong analytical skills to identify, assess, and resolve incidents effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration across diverse teams.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with IT service management frameworks and best practices.
- Experience in using tools and technologies that support incident tracking and resolution.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Incident Management.
- This position is based at our Bhubaneswar office.
