R3 Robotics is developing the AI-powered dismantling platform that transforms end-of-life electric vehicle systems into strategic sources of critical materials. As global electrification accelerates, the surge in batteries and e-motors requires automated solutions that manual disassembly cannot provide. We are addressing this industrial bottleneck by enabling the automated dismantling of complex systems at scale through computer vision, artificial intelligence, and specialized robotic tooling.

Following a successful €20M Series A funding round led by HG Ventures and Suma Capital, we are expanding across Europe and preparing for our entry into the United States market in 2026. Your role

The Head of Strategy & Finance will be a core member of the leadership team, owning the financial and strategic direction of R3 Robotics at a pivotal moment in its growth. This is not a traditional finance role. It sits at the intersection of numbers and strategy, requiring someone who can build rigorous financial foundations while simultaneously shaping how the company grows, raises capital, and enters new markets. The ideal candidate brings deep financial expertise, a genuine interest in company building, and the confidence to operate as a true thought partner to the founders in a fast-moving, international environment.

Your responsibilities

• Own the full financial architecture of the company: from budgeting and forecasting to long-term capital planning. And turn it into a strategic decision-making tool for leadership.
• Build and maintain sophisticated financial models that drive key business decisions, including pricing strategy, market expansion, and investment prioritization.
• Shape and lead the company's investor strategy.
• Develop the strategic finance function from the ground up: define frameworks for unit economics, capital efficiency, and growth levers as the company scales internationally.
• Partner directly with the Leadership on high-stakes decisions — market entry, partnerships, M&A opportunities — bringing rigorous analysis and a sharp strategic lens.
• Translate complex financial and market data into compelling narratives for board meetings, investor updates, and external stakeholders.
• Lead financial due diligence and structuring for strategic transactions, partnerships, and new market entries.
• Oversee multi-entity accounting, audit, and tax compliance across Luxembourg and Germany, working closely with external advisors to ensure robustness as the company grows.
• Identify and actively manage financial risks.
• Act as the internal authority on financial performance: setting up reporting infrastructure, KPI frameworks, and dashboards that give leadership real-time visibility into the business.

Your profile

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a comparable subject from a top-tier university.
• 5+ years of experience in strategic finance, investment banking, private equity, FP&A, or management consulting.
• Proven track record of financial modelling, analysis, and presenting to senior stakeholders or investors.
• First-hand experience in a fast-paced environment — startup, scale-up, or advisory firm.
• Hands-on, proactive, and self-starter mentality with strong ownership mindset.
• Enthusiasm for sustainability and B2B industrial technology.
• Exceptional analytical, structured problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a lean, agile organization where scope evolves quickly.
