Responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing Emerson DeltaV Distributed Control Systems within a GMP pharmaceutical environment. This includes designing control strategies, troubleshooting automation issues, and managing the lifecycle of automation hardware and software.
Requires strong technical expertise in Emerson DeltaV DCS, including Batch, Control Modules, and System Administration. Experience in pharmaceutical automation and knowledge of GMP manufacturing standards are essential.
We are seeking an experienced DeltaV Automation Engineer to join the Automation & Process Control team at MSD Ballydine. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing Emerson DeltaV Distributed Control Systems (DCS) used within a highly regulated GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The role will involve working across manufacturing operations, capital projects, new product introductions (NPI), process improvements, and lifecycle management of automation systems while ensuring compliance with GMP, safety, and quality standards.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on one of Ireland's largest pharmaceutical manufacturing sites, supporting state-of-the-art manufacturing processes and contributing to operational excellence.
