  • Maintain awareness of emerging technologies, emitter systems, and adversary capabilities.
  • Manage COMSEC/TRANSEC impacts and collaborate with cybersecurity teams to maintain secure, compliant configurations through strict change control processes.
  • Monitor and maintain system performance using automated tools to provide proactive identification and resolution of issues, ensuring mission readiness and operational efficiency.
  • Support the development of tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) for SATCOM analysis and integration.
  • Liaison with Government customers and outside agencies in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support operational and exercise planning by modeling future demand, estimating bandwidth needs, and developing reliable contingency communications.
  • Provide feedback to Operations Lead and Program Management on daily, weekly and monthly activities.
  • All other Mission Integration and support duties as directed by the Operations Lead.
  • Complete all Contractually directed and Leidos corporate training requirements and required certifications.
  • Able to support shift work to meet mission surge operations.

  • Utilize SATCOM methodologies to enhance mission effectiveness.
  • Familiarity with SATCOM equipment (modems, antennas, amplifiers, switches) and associated industry standards and familiarity with SATCOM waveform standards (e.g., DVB-S2, MIL-STD-188-165A).
  • Experience in designing and analyzing link budgets and RF propagation models.
  • Experience managing SATCOM services and bandwidth/capacity in operational environments.
  • Knowledge of IP networking fundamentals (routing/switching, QoS, VPNs, WAN concepts) and network performance monitoring.
  • Capable of working autonomously with little or no supervision.
  • Effectively communicate with Leidos and sub-contractor functional leads, managers, and employees.
  • Ability to travel 10% to support meetings and system integration and testing.
  • Able to support shift work to meet mission surge operations.
