Job Description
Testing the quality and compatibility of blood for transfusion
Coordinating the procurement, stock management, and distribution of blood to various hospital departments
Managing data and records related to the Blood Bank
Monitoring the quality and safety of blood, as well as the stability of temperature, reagents, and screening cells
Adhering to Blood Bank protocols and standard operating procedures
Collaborating with the Head of the Blood Bank to regularly update and review SOPs
Ensuring the quality and safety of all Blood Bank services in accordance with applicable guidelines
Preventing errors in blood identification and distribution
Managing blood supply efficiently, ensuring timely and appropriate use based on clinical indications
Qualifications
Minimum of a D3 (Associate Degree) in Blood Transfusion Technology
At least 1 year of work experience in a Blood Bank or clinical laboratory
Certified training and Blood Bank certification are preferred
Good knowledge of Blood Bank regulations and standards
Demonstrates leadership, analytical skills, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities
