About the role

Are you an organised administrative professional with a keen eye for detail and a talent for coordinating multiple tasks? For our central offices, we are looking for an Administrative Tender Officer to support the tender process from start to finish. In this varied role, you will work closely with project engineers, estimators, and various internal departments to ensure that tender submissions are prepared accurately and delivered on time. Thanks to your strong organisational skills, proactive mindset, and effective communication, you help keep complex processes running smoothly, even in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.

Jan De Nul Group offers specialised services for the installation of submarine structures for the renewable energy markets.  Seabed preparation, trench dredging, and their stabilisation and ballasting are all part of these offshore services. Whether it concerns subsea pipelines, cables, umbilicals, foundations, platforms or even entire wind farms: always tailored to the client’s needs and on an EPC basis if required. Jan De Nul Group is also synonymous with dredging and reclamation projects from A to Z, worldwide and at the highest level! Or how about the largest lock in the world in Antwerp, the sustainable and architecturally sophisticated Résidence Palace in Brussels, the integral A11 or the Oosterweel link in Antwerp? Also all Jan De Nul Group! Do you want to be part of our international team?

What you’ll do

From our central offices in Aalst, we are currently looking for an additional Administrative Tender Officer. Some of your main tasks include:

  • Providing administrative support for the entire tender process for projects in our Construction Projects and Planet Redevelopment departments, in close collaboration with the calculation department and project engineers;
  • Creating and keeping projects up to date in our project master database;
  • Requesting and following up on various official certificates for the compilation of the tender dossier;
  • Coordinating the administrative input of internal departments (Finance, Legal, Insurance, etc.) and collaborating with external partners in the case of joint tenders.

What do you need to have?

  • You have a bachelor's degree in Office Management or similar, with at least 3 years of relevant work experience in an administrative position.
  • You are a born organiser, work accurately and know how to maintain an overview in a context with strict deadlines.
  • In addition, you have:
    • A fluent command of Dutch, French and English, or you are intermediate and willing to undergo further training.
    • Good knowledge of MS Office.
    • Strong communication skills to work with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • You are someone who can work independently, but also functions well in a team.
  • You like structure, work discreetly and have a keen eye for detail.
  • You are good at setting priorities in order to meet deadlines.
