Amazon is looking for a strategic and ambitious Senior Account Manager based in Shanghai. The objective of the Account Manager is to deliver new business insights, growth and maximize revenue generation across Amazon's suite of products for our selling partners. You will analyze traffic, merchandising, sales and selection data to identify opportunities to accelerate managed sellers' growth and succeed on the marketplaces.
Your superior communication, organizational and analytical skills — combined with strategic thinking — will enable you to operate in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment, identify marketplace trends, and take full ownership of driving business outcomes.
Specific Responsibilities include:
- Develop joint business plan with selling partner by analyzing the performances across various domains, including but not limited to merchandising and selection, and defining growth plans.
- Review and monitor performance and sales of selling partners in order to provide them with consulting advice to grow their business, while supporting them in capitalizing the opportunities of growth on Amazon.
- Feed back to other teams within Amazon worldwide lessons learned during project implementation and post-live support phases.
- Own and drive projects with cross function teams and deliver result with stakeholders
Key job responsibilities
- Seller Growth & Performance Management Analyze seller metrics and data to provide tailored advice and interventions that accelerate sales velocity and account health. Empower sellers to scale their businesses by educating them on emerging marketplace (with a primary focus on Mexico) specific customer preferences, promotional tools, and inventory management.
- Relationship & Account Management Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with a portfolio of CN sellers. Act as the primary point of contact and strategic advocate for sellers, ensuring a positive experience with Amazon emerging marketplaces.
- SME for Seller operations and Emerging Marketplaces Act as an expert for seller business and the marketplace, proactively identify and remove blockers (logistical, operational, knowledge-based) that hinder seller growth and performance. Demonstrate curiosity and understanding of marketplace dynamics across Mexico and broader LATAM.
- Project Ownership & Strategic Initiatives Own and drive strategic projects end-to-end (e.g., new program launches, process improvements), collaborating cross-functionally to deliver measurable outcomes. Contribute to go-to-market strategies and growth opportunities for CN sellers in emerging markets as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
- 4+ years of digital advertising and client facing roles experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers
- Experience managing cross-functional projects and initiatives
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4+ years of client or vendor facing roles with a focus in relationship management and negotiation skills experience
- Experience aggregating and analyzing internal and external campaign metrics to assess performance drivers and identify insights
- Experience developing and executing on GTM strategies that are large in scope
