As an External Audit - Manager, you will focus on providing independent and objective assessments of financial statements, internal controls, and other assurable information, enhancing the credibility and reliability of this information with a variety of stakeholders. Within our Assurance practice, you will evaluate compliance with regulations, including assessing governance and risk management processes and related controls. As a Manager, you will lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You are accountable for project success and maintaining standards. Enhancing your leadership style, you motivate, develop, and inspire others to deliver quality. You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team members' unique strengths, and managing performance to deliver on client expectations. With your growing knowledge of how business works, you play an important role in identifying opportunities that contribute to the success of our Firm. You are expected to lead with integrity and authenticity, articulating our purpose and values in a meaningful way. You embrace technology and innovation to enhance your delivery and encourage others to do the same. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Buenos Aires, you will take ownership of projects, confirming their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion.

Responsibilities

- Leading audit engagements and managing client relationships to deliver quality outcomes
- Guiding teams in the evaluation of financial statements and internal controls
- Utilizing auditing skills to assess compliance with regulations and governance processes
- Developing and implementing strategic plans for audit projects, confirming timely completion
- Mentoring team members to enhance their skills and performance in audit tasks
- Analyzing complex financial data to identify potential risks and opportunities
- Collaborating with leadership to maintain consistent quality and timelines in deliverables
- Encouraging the use of innovative technologies to improve audit processes
- Addressing conflicts and engaging in critical conversations with stakeholders
- Upholding professional and technical standards, including adherence to the firm's code of conduct

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Public Accounting, Business Administration, Economics
- At least 4 years of experience
- At least one of the following: US Licensed CPA or Public Accountant
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
