Project Lead (Corporate Immigration) - 12 Months Fixed Term

Job Description

Fragomen is seeking an experienced Project Lead (Corporate Immigration) to join our in-house project team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

As the primary point of contact for a key client, you will lead project governance, coordinate cross-functional delivery teams, and ensure successful execution of a large-scale corporate immigration program. Working closely with legal professionals, immigration specialists, and our Operations team, you will drive project outcomes while enabling technical teams to focus on service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary client contact, managing communication, expectations, and project governance.
• Coordinate delivery across lawyers, immigration professionals, and offshore operations teams.
• Monitor project milestones, risks, issues, and reporting to ensure timely delivery.
• Drive operational efficiency, workflow management, and resource utilisation.
• Resolve and escalate issues proactively while maintaining a high standard of client service.
• Partner closely with the Practice Leader to ensure client priorities are achieved.
• Provide day-to-day guidance to the project team, ensuring adherence to timelines, client protocols, and quality standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and foster a collaborative team environment.

You will bring:

• Experience in a legal, professional services or immigration environment, ideally as a Paralegal, RMA, admitted Australian Solicitor, or in a comparable project/program role, with a strong understanding of professional services workflows
• Demonstrated experience coordinating or leading complex projects, high-volume programs or large-scale client engagements..
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with confidence engaging senior clients and remote teams.
• Strong project planning, risk, and timeline management skills, with the ability to deliver under tight deadlines.
• Experience working across international or shared services teams is highly regarded.
• Highly organised and solutions-focused, with the ability to anticipate issues, drive actions and maintain oversight of multiple workstreams.
• Corporate immigration experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Full Australian working rights.
