How will you make a difference as a Business Immigration Supervisor at Fragomen?

  • Act as a supervisor to business immigration caseworkers.

  • Train, mentor, onboard, and develop consultants and interns, ensuring adherence to internal procedures and quality standards.

  • Demonstrate excellence in managing complex cases and ensuring team's work output is accurate and timely by prioritizing cases and monitoring workload.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to the team using extensive knowledge of Brazilian inbound and outbound business immigration case matters.

  • Monitor team workload, productivity, and case allocation, ensuring a balanced distribution of work and appropriate case assignments based on experience and complexity.

  • Serve as a liaison between the immigration consulting team and the Client Services Manager and/or Associates.

  • Proactively address client escalations, lead high touch calls, and provide accurate and relevant client reporting.

  • Support the implementation of process improvements, operational efficiencies, and standardization initiatives.

  • Support managers in the identification, communication, and implementation of regulatory or procedural changes affecting clients and internal operations.

  • Coordinate technical alignment meetings and facilitate knowledge-sharing initiatives within the team.

  • Oversee status of cases through utilization of case management and billing systems.

  • Be fluent with case management and other reporting tools and technologies used to manage data and information.

  • Ensure self and team follow documented firm standards and policy to mitigate risk and ensure regulatory, operational and client compliance (e.g., complete mandatory training such as Data Privacy, follow Client Protocols, etc.).

Leverage your valuable skills and experience to make an impact at Fragomen:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • At least 7 years of business immigration experience (i.e., paralegal)

  • Extensive experience in corporate immigration, including Brazilian inbound and outbound immigration processes

  • Strong knowledge of Brazilian immigration regulations, government procedures, and related compliance requirements

  • Supervisory, team leadership or managerial experience

  • Experience training, coaching, and developing professionals in a technical environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and competing demands in a fast-paced environment

  • A client service mindset, attention to detail and desire to achieve a high level of productivity

  • Experience of using various computer systems, including Microsoft tools

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with competing demands

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to proofread documents, draft fluent prose, and avoid grammatical mistakes without the aid of AI engines

  • Commitment to accuracy, quality, compliance, and client service excellence

  • Ability to contribute to positive work environment, effectively collaborate and promote teamwork
