M07 - UI/UX Designer

Overview

We are looking for a creative and user-focused UI/UX Designer to craft intuitive, engaging, and visually compelling digital experiences. In this role, you will work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate user needs and business objectives into seamless user journeys. From user research and wireframing to high-fidelity designs and interactive prototypes, you will play a key role in delivering user-centric products that are both functional and visually appealing.

Responsibilities

• Design intuitive and user-friendly digital experiences by applying user-centred design principles throughout the product lifecycle.
• Conduct user research, gather insights, and translate findings into effective design solutions.
• Create user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality product experiences.
• Develop and maintain consistent design systems, reusable components, and UI patterns using Figma.
• Produce polished, pixel-perfect user interfaces with strong attention to typography, colour, spacing, accessibility, and interaction design.
• Validate design decisions through usability testing and iterate based on user feedback and business requirements.
• Ensure design consistency and quality from concept through implementation.
• Create custom illustrations, icons, and visual assets to enhance user engagement where appropriate.

Requirements

• Proven experience in UI/UX Design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating user-centred design projects.
• Strong understanding of the complete design process, including user research, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, and visual design.
• Proficiency in Figma, including components, auto-layout, design systems, collaborative workflows, and interactive prototyping.
• Excellent visual design skills with a strong eye for typography, colour, layout, spacing, and interaction design.
• Ability to create modern, aesthetically pleasing, and highly usable user interfaces.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional Agile teams.
• Experience conducting usability testing and incorporating user feedback into iterative design improvements.
• Preferred: Experience creating custom illustrations, iconography, or visual assets using tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Procreate, or similar design software.
• Passion for creating exceptional user experiences and staying current with emerging design trends, tools, and best practices.
