M02 - Low Code Engineer
About this role
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Low-Code Engineer to design, develop, and maintain solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate) to streamline and automate the processes. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, HR, and IT teams to deliver efficient, secure, and user-friendly applications that enhance operational workflows.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy applications using low code/no code platforms such as Power Automate, Power Apps, or similar tools;
- Analyse current processes and identify opportunities for automation and improvement.
- Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications;
- Develop automated workflows, forms, and integrations to streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency;
- Conduct thorough testing of applications to ensure they meet functional and non-functional requirements;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business units, and external vendors, to deliver high-quality applications that meet business needs.
- Ensure compliance with security and data governance policies.
- Monitor and maintain deployed solutions, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for developed applications, including, but not limited to:
- Solution Design Document
- Configuration & Environment Details
- Security & Compliance Documentation
- Deployment Guide
- Maintenance & Support Guide
- User Guide
- Training Material
- Testing & Validation Report
Experience and Skill(s) Needed
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines.
- At least 2 years of experience in application development, with a strong focus on low-code/no-code platforms.
- Configure and administer low-code platforms, managing workflows, rules engines, process logic, data validation, and UI components.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively and independently.
Desirable Skill(s)
- Relevant certifications in low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform).
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (e.g., Power Automate, Power Apps).
- Familiar with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficient in Git and experienced in agile methodologies (Scrum, TDD, Pair Programming, Continuous Integration).
- Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), databases (SQL, NoSQL), and API integrations with enterprise systems.
