About the location:

Four Seasons Hotel and Residences is part of a 65-storey mixed-use tower that will include 242 Four Seasons Private Residences, 27 serviced apartments, a 209-key Four Seasons Hotel and a six- floor of 250,000 square foot luxury retail podium, collectively known as Four Seasons Place Kuala Lumpur. The Hotel introduces several unique dining outlets to the city, including a Cantonese restaurant, lobby and rooftop pool bars, and an all-day dining restaurant with sweeping views of the Petronas Twin Towers. The Hotel will also offer an executive lounge for business travelers, a serene spa, wellness-focused fitness centre and rooftop infinity pool offering panoramic views of Kuala Lumpur’s endless skyline. Four Seasons Hotel and Residences is located in the Golden Triangle neighborhood, Kuala Lumpur’s thriving business and financial district. Commis 3 - Pastry

Commis 3 - Pastry to support daily pastry operations while contributing to exceptional quality and guest service. The role focuses on assisting senior pastry staff through the timely movement of ingredients and supplies, supporting the set-up and break-down of pastry stations, maintaining organized storage areas, and assisting with basic daily pastry and bakery preparation.

What You Will Do:

• Assisting chefs with food preparation and presentation in a professional kitchen setting.

• Maintain knowledge use of equipment and use equipment only as intended.

• Anticipate guests’ needs and acknowledge all guests.

• Maintain positive guest relations at all times.

• Be familiar with hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.

• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.

• Maintain and strictly abide by state health authority regulations and hotel requirements.

• Communicate with other colleague to ensure optimum service during operation.

• Maintain proper storage procedures, Use First in First out (FIFO) for storage item.

• Minimize waste and maintain controls to attain forecasted food cost.

• Assist is putting daily food deliveries in designated storage areas.

• Monitor and notify management when stock items fall below par levels.

• Date and cover food in walk-in refrigerator and walk-in freezer.

• Following and understanding recipe instructions.

• Ensure additional related duties as requested by the management and/or the kitchen supervisory staff is done.

• Ensures food quantity levels are maintained appropriately to meet business demands.

• Is at all times appropriately groomed and wearing the uniform provided.

• Treats customers with courtesy and respect.

• Follows all safety precautions applicable to food service and preparation area.

• Clean up and wipe down food prep areas, reach-ins/walk-ins, and shelves.

• Return all unused and clean utensils/equipment to the specified locations.

• Review status of work and follow-up actions required with the Sous Chef/ SCDP before leaving. Assist with inventories as scheduled.

• Follow maintenance program and cleaning schedule.

What You Bring:

• Good knowledge in pastry.

• Ability to lift up to 60lbs.

• Certificate in related discipline.

• Able to work a flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays as per business demands and needs.

• Must be able to speak, read, and write Bahasa Malaysia and English.

• Must have the right to work in Malaysia.
