Alto Overland Park is looking for a friendly, dependable Full-Time Server to join our Dining Services team. If you take pride in great service and enjoy creating a warm, welcoming dining experience, this could be the perfect fit for you.
Schedule:
- Full-Time | AM Shift
- Days vary and include weekends
What You'll Do:
- Provide attentive, friendly table service to residents and guests
- Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and with a smile
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment
- Build genuine relationships with residents, learning their preferences and making mealtime special
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen and dining team to ensure smooth service

The primary responsibility of the Server is to accommodate residents and guests during their dining experience by attending to their needs in a friendly, timely, and professional manner.
Areas of Responsibility
- Greet and seat residents and guests in a timely and professional manner as well as approach and interact with residents and guests in a friendly, service-oriented, and professional manner.
- Serve food in an efficient and professional manner.
- Clear tables of glasses, silverware, dishes, etc. when residents and guests have finished a course or their meal according to Company protocol.
- Maintain a clean dining room. Chairs, windows, floors, and all work areas should be wiped down and sanitized after every meal period.
- Deliver and retrieve trays to and from residents’ apartments as needed.
- Label and date all food.

Required Qualifications
- Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
- Must pay attention to detail, be flexible/adaptable, have safety awareness, and be a team player.
- Must have positive Criminal Background Screening.
- The Community is a drug free workplace; associates are subject to adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.
- Food serving experience preferred.
