System Test Engineer for Body Control

YOUR TASKS
-Analyzing,
clarifying and review of System requirements
- Test
specification creation and automation of test cases.
- Execute
test cases (manual and/or automated), run exploratory testing and perform basic
vehicle tests (smoke test)
- Result
analysis and reporting of defects.
- Understand
the product functionality to reach test boundaries.
- Test
environment creation (e.g. HW/SW Simulations)
- Capability
to fulfill all the prerequisites needed for test execution (e.g. connect the
ECU to the Test set-up)
- Ability to
evaluate, interpret and document all test results and bring technical arguments
when finding defects (e.g. provide oscillograms / traces)
- If
necessary, you will provide test support on customer site.
- Establish a
stable interface with the external project teams
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
-Knowledge about electronics and embedded systems
- Usage of instrumentation for measurement and control (oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeter etc.)
- Bachelor of Engineering, in the areas of Computer Science, Electrical, Automotive, or other relevant fields
- Initiative to find solutions to solve problems and search for continuous improvement of our test solutions.
- Knowledge of System testing techniques and a good microcontrollers understanding
- Programming skills: C / C++ / Python
- Fluent English language skills, German / French is a plus; willing to attend job training / customer support abroad.
- Communication protocols knowledge is a plus
- ISTQB would be an advantage
