YOUR TASKS

  • Create HW designs/architectures based on new or existing platforms
  • Creating/ updating and validating (worst case calculation & simulation) circuit diagrams and BOMs
  • Performing development tasks based on existing hardware specifications and architectures
  • Writing test specifications and performing hardware electrical tests on development samples
  • Contributing to DFMEA
  • Conducting signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) analysis for high-speed digital and mixed-signal designs
  • Defining PCB stack-up, layout guidelines, and design rules for high-speed, high-power, and EMC-sensitive designs
  • Performing thermal analysis and component derating in line with automotive standards
  • Ensuring designs comply with EMC/EMI and ESD requirements, including pre-compliance testing support
  • Supporting functional safety development (ISO 26262), including hardware safety mechanisms and ASIL-classified requirements
  • Selecting and specifying components in accordance with AEC-Q100/AEC-Q200 qualification standards
  • Driving Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Testability (DFT) considerations into hardware design
  • Mentoring junior/mid-level engineers and providing technical guidance across the design team
  • Stay in contact with the design team, experts, and project management
  • Keeping track of your activities and deadlines, including managing requirements in tools such as DOORS or ALM

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
  • Extensive hardware engineering experience (senior/lead level) or proficient electronics profile, University Graduate (Master's preferred)
  • Deep knowledge of embedded hardware design, analog and digital circuit development, including digital interfaces (e.g, SPI, I2C)
  • Working experience with SPICE-based simulation programs (e.g., LTspice) and worst case circuit calculation tools (e.g., MathCAD, WCCA methodologies)
  • Solid understanding of power supplies (DC-DC converters, linear power supplies, voltage/ current regulation)
  • Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN)
  • Familiarity with functional safety standards (ISO 26262) and automotive quality standards
  • Experience with EMC/ EMI design principles and lab validation (oscilloscopes, network/spectrum analyzers, EMC chambers)
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers and leading technical discussions with cross-functional teams
  • Fluency in English language is mandatory
  • Attention to details and organized
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently on complex problems
