Job Description

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our HVAC/R Program. This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Dean of Education. The primary responsibility will be to teach HVAC/R courses. The typical teaching load is two courses each term, with one or two preparations. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, and participate in department training, meetings and graduation.

Requirements

  • Completion of an HVAC/R program resulting in a certificate of completion or diploma; an associate degree is preferred but not required
  • Certification:
  • HVAC License - required
  • EPA Universal – required
  • Journeyman HVAC – not required but desired
  • NATE Certified – not required but desired
  • At least three years of experience as an HVAC/R Technician
  • Highly organized, motivated and results-driven
  • Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred
