Description

As a Salesforce Administrator within our Enterprise IT Applications team, you will be the go-to expert ensuring the platform runs smoothly, securely, and efficiently. Your work will directly empower teams across the business by resolving user issues, maintaining data integrity, and enabling scalable solutions that support our growth. This is a hands-on role requiring a proactive mindset, strong technical acumen, and a passion for user support.
This role has a strong focus on Salesforce CPQ administration, supporting core Lead-to-Cash processes including quoting, pricing, discounting, and order flow. Ideal for an Administrator with 2–3 years’ Salesforce experience who has worked closely with Sales Operations and Finance.


Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
• System Administration: Configure and maintain Salesforce CPQ components including products, price
books, discount schedules, price rules, product rules, bundles, and approvals to support scalable and
compliant quoting.
• User Support: Provide day-to-day support for Sales and Sales Operations users, including quote setup,
pricing issues, approval flows, and post-deployment CPQ support.
• Change Management: Support CPQ-related change requests including pricing changes, product
catalogue updates, contract terms, and approval logic, ensuring changes are tested and documented.
• Project Delivery: Participate in CPQ enhancements, optimisations, and rollout activities, working closely
with Solution Architects and external partners where required.
• Data & Integrity (optional new bullet): Support CPQ data quality across products, pricing, and quoting
outputs, ensuring accuracy for downstream systems (e.g. ERP).
• Project Delivery: Lead or contribute to strategic Salesforce initiatives that enhance capabilities.
• Performance Optimisation: Participate and support activities for the monitoring of system
performance, and conduct regular system audits and health checks as directed.
• Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce Salesforce security protocols to ensure compliance
with internal and external standards
• Change Management: Manage change requests and ensure smooth transitions during upgrades and
migrations.
• Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation and user
guides.
• Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Participate and support collaboration with crossfunctional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions. Engage with stakeholders to gather
feedback and drive continuous improvement.
• Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest Salesforce product
developments and industry trends. Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement.


Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Must Have Skills & Experience
• 2–3 years of hands‑on Salesforce Administrator experience, primarily in Sales Cloud.
• Practical experience administering Salesforce CPQ in a live production environment.
• Understanding of Lead‑to‑Quote / Lead‑to‑Cash processes, including pricing, discounting, approvals,
and renewals.
• Experience supporting Sales users in quote creation and troubleshooting CPQ issues.
• Experience with Salesforce data tools (e.g. Data Loader) including CPQ‑related data sets.
• Strong communicator able to translate business requirements into practical CPQ configurations
• Excellent communication skills for user support and training.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing change requests and supporting system upgrades.

Nice-to-Have / Preferred
  • Salesforce CPQ experience (2+ years preferred).
    • Exposure to ERP or Finance integrations (e.g. NetSuite, Certinia) in a quote-to-order or order-to-cash
    context.
    • Experience working in a multi-entity or acquisition-driven environment.
    • Familiarity with release cycles impacting CPQ pricing or product models.
Desired Qualifications
• Salesforce Certified Administrator (required or strongly preferred).
• Salesforce CPQ Specialist certification (nice to have, not required)
