Role Overview
The Cashier is responsible for processing guest transactions accurately and efficiently while delivering a professional and welcoming customer experience. This role plays an important part in ensuring smooth front-of-house operations through excellent attention to detail, integrity, and outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities
Cash Handling & POS Operations
Process cash, card, and digital payments accurately using the POS system.
Issue receipts and maintain accurate transaction records.
Balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift.
Report any payment discrepancies to management promptly.
Guest Service
Welcome guests warmly and provide friendly, efficient service.
Answer guest inquiries regarding payments, bills, and promotions.
Resolve basic payment-related concerns professionally and escalate when necessary.
Operational Support
Coordinate with service and management teams to ensure accurate billing.
Assist with takeaway and delivery order payments when required.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional cashier station.
Standards & Compliance
Follow company cash-handling procedures and financial controls.
Adhere to hygiene, safety, and company policies at all times.
Maintain a professional appearance and represent the brand positively.

Candidate Requirements
1–3 years of experience as a Cashier in a restaurant, café, or hospitality environment.
Experience using POS systems and handling cash transactions.
Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Positive attitude, honesty, and strong teamwork skills.
