AZ Stores Clerk I

Schedule: 8am - 4:30pm Mon-Fri. Some OT and occasional Saturdays
Location: 2635 E. Magnolia Street, Phoenix, AZ
DESCRIPTION:
The Stores Clerk I is responsible for daily kitting of work orders (Counting and bagging parts). The physical receipt, data entry, and transaction transfers of inventory, consumables and other goods.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Examine counts and sort items; completes necessary paperwork and transactions.
- Receive materials for storage.
- Prepares finished goods for shipping, or raw materials for production.
- Complete requests and order from internal customers, move-tickets, and picklists.
- Conduct daily cycle counts, perform full physical inventory from start to post, including entering counts.
- Answer inventory questions for and provide inventory information to other departments.
- Maintain accuracy in both locations and quantities for all items; maintain stationery supplies such as request forms, hold tags, etc.
- Maintain all stock areas neat and clean to ensure safe working conditions per 6s protocol.
- Maintain Bin Locations, Lot, and Serial Numbers.
- Cleans warehouse and storage areas.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
- Comply with applicable environmental, health and safety laws and regulations, Company policy and accepted safe work practices.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS:
- Forklift certified required
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- High school diploma, GED equivalent.
- Computer Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Working knowledge of ERP software preferred (Epicor preferred).
- Must be reliable and have excellent attendance.
- 0–2 years of experience.
- Inventory/Stockroom experience helpful.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS WHILE PERFORMING THE JOB:
- Standing for extended periods of time, walking, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, or bending to the floor.
- Lifting and/or moving items up to 40 pounds.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT OF THE JOB:
- Regularly exposed to moving equipment.
- Indoor/Outdoor work environment.
- The employee will be required to use personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent exposure to hazardous materials commonly used in a manufacturing environment (i.e., safety glasses and shoes, gloves, ear plugs/covers, mask, cleanroom suit).
