Overview: Flywheel Centers is dedicated to providing high-quality ABA therapy for children with autism across multiple states. We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Lead Afternoon/Part Time Behavior Technician to join our team! As a vital member of our care team, you will work directly with clients to implement individualized treatment plans under the guidance of a BCBA.

Job Summary:
Spend your day working with children at our state-of the art center.
Carry out the treatment plan that has been carefully outlined by a supervising Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Provide ABA therapy to manage and improve behaviors that interfere with daily life.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
  • RBT certification (or willing to obtain certification)
  • Proven experience working with children (preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to commute to the center
  • Ability to work from 4-7 PM, Monday-Friday (able to close the center)
  • Ability to work flexible hours

BT Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising BCBA
  • Provide 1:1 therapy to children with autism using evidence-based ABA techniques
  • Collect and record accurate data on client progress during each session
  • Communicate client progress and concerns with the supervising BCBA
  • Assist with skill development in areas such as communication, social interaction, and daily living
  • Support behavior reduction programs by implementing strategies to address challenging behaviors
  • Participate in initial and ongoing training programs, including team meetings and supervision sessions
  • Follow Flywheel's clinical policies, procedures, and documentation requirements
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all interactions

LEAD Responsibilities:

  • Support onboarding of other BTs within the center and provide ongoing support as needed.
  • Provide coverage for therapist cancellations by filling in for missed sessions when assigned, ensuring continuity of care for clients
  • Assist with admin tasks in the center including organizing materials, center set up and clean up, and creating seasonal decorations and preparation of activities etc.
  • Lead daily afternoon group activities from the provided curriculum, including preparing materials, facilitating activities, and supervising participants to ensure a safe and engaging environment.
