Lead Behavior Technician - Part Time/Afternoon
About this role
- High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
- RBT certification (or willing to obtain certification)
- Proven experience working with children (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Reliable transportation and willingness to commute to the center
- Ability to work from 4-7 PM, Monday-Friday (able to close the center)
- Ability to work flexible hours
BT Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising BCBA
- Provide 1:1 therapy to children with autism using evidence-based ABA techniques
- Collect and record accurate data on client progress during each session
- Communicate client progress and concerns with the supervising BCBA
- Assist with skill development in areas such as communication, social interaction, and daily living
- Support behavior reduction programs by implementing strategies to address challenging behaviors
- Participate in initial and ongoing training programs, including team meetings and supervision sessions
- Follow Flywheel's clinical policies, procedures, and documentation requirements
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all interactions
LEAD Responsibilities:
- Support onboarding of other BTs within the center and provide ongoing support as needed.
- Provide coverage for therapist cancellations by filling in for missed sessions when assigned, ensuring continuity of care for clients
- Assist with admin tasks in the center including organizing materials, center set up and clean up, and creating seasonal decorations and preparation of activities etc.
- Lead daily afternoon group activities from the provided curriculum, including preparing materials, facilitating activities, and supervising participants to ensure a safe and engaging environment.
