The Role

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to build the products that merchants use to run and grow their businesses. You will work across the Merchant Dashboard, checkout experiences, Payment Links, Invoices, and the services that support them. You should combine strong frontend skills with solid backend engineering and care deeply about usability, accessibility, performance, security, and conversion.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Own merchant-facing features from design through production across frontend applications, backend services, APIs, and data models.
  • Build and maintain the Merchant Dashboard, including analytics, settings, balances, and operational workflows.
  • Develop and improve checkout experiences, the JavaScript SDK, Payment Links, and Invoices.
  • Create responsive, accessible, and secure interfaces that work well across devices and browsers.
  • Improve page speed, application performance, and checkout reliability to support stronger conversion.
  • Design and maintain backend services that connect merchant experiences to payment and account systems.
  • Write automated tests, monitor production behavior, and resolve issues across the full stack.
  • Work closely with Product, Design, Data, and other engineering teams to turn customer needs into reliable solutions.

Required competency and skillset to be a waver:

  • At least five years of professional full-stack software engineering experience.
  • Strong experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and a modern frontend framework such as React or Vue.
  • Backend development experience in one or more languages such as Node.js, Go, Java, Python, or PHP
  • Strong backend development experience, including API design, databases, authentication, and service integration.
  • A practical understanding of web accessibility standards, responsive design, and cross-browser behavior.
  • Experience improving web performance, reliability, and customer conversion or engagement.
  • Experience building dashboards, checkout flows, payment products, or other high-traffic web applications.
  • Strong testing, debugging, observability, and continuous delivery practices.
  • A product-focused approach, clear communication, and a strong sense of ownership.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
