We are looking for a Senior Manual Tester (1 year contract) as a replacement due to Maternity Leave to join our Testing Department and help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our digital products.

In this role, you will work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to identify issues, improve user experience, and support the successful delivery of software solutions. You will take ownership of testing activities, contribute to quality initiatives, and provide guidance to junior team members while helping drive continuous improvement within the team.

What you'll do:

  • Test Strategy and Execution: Design, prepare, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios to ensure software applications meet business and functional requirements.

  • Test Execution and Defect Management: Perform manual testing across web, mobile, and desktop applications, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

  • Collaboration: Partner with developers, business analysts, product owners, and project managers to better understand requirements, validate functionality, and ensure complete test coverage.

  • Mentorship and Support: Share knowledge and best practices with junior team members, supporting their professional development and promoting a quality-focused culture.

  • Quality Assurance: Contribute to maintaining high-quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle and help ensure positive user experiences.

  • Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain clear testing documentation, including test cases, execution reports, and defect tracking records.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance testing processes, tools, and methodologies, and collaborate with automation teams to improve overall testing efficiency.

What you'll bring:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • At least 2 years of experience in manual software testing, with a focus on functional and regression testing.

  • ISTQB Foundation Certification (or higher) is considered an advantage.

Technical Skills

  • Good understanding of manual testing principles, techniques, and best practices.

  • Experience working with defect management tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, Quality Center, or ServiceNow.

  • Familiarity with test management tools such as TestRail, ALM, or Polarion.

  • Knowledge of SQL and databases for data validation and testing activities.

  • Understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • Experience testing web and mobile applications.
