Your responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and dispatch outbound shipments, including truckloads, LTL, and international freight, ensuring compliance with all shipping regulations and customer requirements.
- Communicate proactively with carriers, warehouses, sales teams, and customers regarding shipment status, delivery schedules, and potential delays.
- Utilize and maintain transportation management systems (TMS) and related software to track shipments, generate shipping documentation, and manage inventory records.
- Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies, damages, and other transportation issues, escalating complex matters to management when necessary.
- Prepare, review, and submit all required customs documentation accurately and on time for international shipments.
- Maintain accurate records of shipping activities, including dispatch logs, delivery confirmations, freight invoices, and related documentation.
- Partner with warehouse teams to ensure products are picked, packed, and loaded safely, accurately, and efficiently.
- Adhere to and promote FLSmidth Inc.'s safety policies and procedures across all shipping and transportation operations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing shipping efficiency, service levels, and cost effectiveness.

What you bring
- 2-4 years’ experience in shipping, dispatch, or logistics coordination role, preferably within a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment
- Proficiency with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
- Strong understanding of domestic and international shipping regulations, including Incoterms and customs requirements.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and quality.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
