Operation Officer – Document Sea Import & Export

Export Documentation
- Prepare and process export shipping documents, including:
- Bill of Lading (MBL & HBL)
- Shipping Instructions (SI) to carrier/agent
- Verified Gross Mass (VGM) to carrier/agent
- Forwarder Certificate of Receipt (FCR)
- Submit Shipping Instructions (SI) and VGM to carriers within cut-off times.
- Verify document accuracy and ensure compliance with customer and carrier requirements.
- Coordinate with customers regarding shipping schedules and documentation requirements.
- Follow up on draft B/L approval and final B/L release within KPI.
Import Documentation
- Receive and review import documents from overseas agents and carriers.
- Verify arrival notices and shipment details.
- Coordinate customs clearance requirements with customers and brokers.
- Monitor shipment arrival status and provide updates to customers.
- Ensure timely submission of required import documentation.

- Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, courier company and messengers.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding shipment and documentation status.
- Resolve documentation discrepancies and shipment-related issues.
- Maintain accurate records and filing of shipment documents.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, carrier requirements, and company procedures.
- Monitor document deadlines and carrier cut-off times.
- Support KPI targets related to documentation accuracy and turnaround time.
