Remote OPI/VRI Interpreter – Korean & English

Are you fluent in both Korean and English and looking for an exciting remote career opportunity? We are seeking Remote OPI/VRI Interpreters (Over-the-Phone / Video Remote Interpreting) to provide real-time, on-demand language interpretation services.

In this role, you will bridge communication gaps between English and Korean speakers in various settings, including customer service, healthcare, business, and essential service environments. This is a 100% work-from-home, entry-level position with comprehensive paid training and clear opportunities for long-term career growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Real-Time Interpretation: Facilitate clear, accurate, and impartial consecutive interpretation between Korean and English speakers via phone (OPI) or video (VRI).
• Tone & Accuracy: Maintain the original tone, context, and meaning of the speaker without summarizing, omitting, or adding information.
• Professionalism: Uphold professional standards, confidentiality (HIPAA/data privacy), and strict ethical guidelines at all times.
• Customer Care: Demonstrate active listening, empathy, and cultural sensitivity during all customer and client interactions.

Requirements & Profile Needed

• Languages: Native or bilingual proficiency in Korean paired with advanced English (C1 level minimum).
• Experience: No prior interpretation experience required—this is an entry-level position open to candidates with strong language skills!
• Availability: Immediate availability to start onboarding.
• Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work rotational shifts aligned with PST or EST business hours on a 5 days on / 2 days off schedule.

Technical & Home Office Requirements

Because this is a 100% remote position, candidates must have a quiet, dedicated home workspace equipped with:
