Counter Salesperson

Description
The counter sales position handles both sales and customer service. A counter salesperson communicates daily with customers, inside sales, and our warehouse to make sure that orders are filled in a timely manner. Duties for this position include:
- Entry of customer orders into our order processing system
- Providing excellent customer service
- Picking orders taken at the counter or by inside sales for will call
- Tracking open orders stored at will call
- Stocking shelves
- Always expanding product knowledge to better assist customers

Requirements
- Good communication skills
- Ability to maintain professional conduct and interact effectively with all employees and customers
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English, other language skills are a plus
- Regular and timely attendance to ensure desired service level to all customers, internal and external
- High School diploma required
Preferred:
- Experience in the PVF, Plumbing, or Construction fields
