Overview: Responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior HR management in supporting multiple lines of roles and responsibilities such as: Benefits administration, performance management, recruitment, employment processing/on boarding, personnel records, employee and/or labor relations, training, employment law compliance, payroll, development and implementation for both policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel
Assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains employee handbook and policies and procedures manual
Performs benefits administration
Recruitment efforts for all exempt and non-exempt personnel, and interns
Understanding of FLSA and Multi-state payroll regulations
Participate in developing department goals, objectives, and systems
Manage company leave programs by effectively interpreting FMLA and ADA implications as they relate to leaves of absence/disabilities
Annual reporting, such as OSHA, EEO-1, and Vet 100/A
Handles employee relations counseling, investigations, and performance improvement plan (PIP) preparation
Work with supervisors to implement progressive discipline
Advise employees and supervisors about company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures
Prepare statistical and written reports with varying degrees of complexity and detail for management
Administration of human resource programs as assigned
Identify potential issues in a proactive and timely manner
Familiarity with Affirmative Action and OFCCP compliance
Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of Human Resources experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Excellent time management, organizational, and detail skills
Ability to work in a diverse fast-paced environment
PHR or SPHR certification preferred

Vision required: 20/40 with or without corrective lenses to accurately read all related distribution documents and computer monitor screens
