Job DetailsJob Location: TX-LEGACY - Houston, TX 77066Roles & Responsibilities

· 2 shifts

· Verifies conformance of finished work-piece to specifications, using measuring and inspection

tools as necessary

· Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and

materials on machines as necessary to machine parts as required

· Stat and observe machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and

adjusts machine controls or control media as required

· Sets up and operates machine on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings or

programmed control of data

· Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine

dimensions and tolerances of finished work-piece, sequence of operations and setup

requirements

· Perform routine maintenance tasks on machines are required

· Ensure that the correct material type and size is used

· Maintains cohesion among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions,

irregularities, and continuing needs

· Document actions by completing production and quality logs

· Maintains a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner, so that you

get along with co-workers and management

· Maintain a clean and organized work area and maintain equipment, to keep a nice appearance

· Maintain a clean work environment, general housekeeping

QualificationsHigh school diploma/GED, required

· 2+ years of CNC lathe and/or mill experience, required

· 5+ years of multi-axis experience, considered a plus

· Experience with Mori-Seki machines preferred

· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications, required

· Ability to perform parts inspection, hold drawing tolerances and use measuring tools, required

· Ability to solve practical problems, required

· Ability to understand CNC programs, preferred

· Ability to run more than one machine at a time, preferred
