Ignite Travel Group is looking for an IT Support Analyst to join our Technology team and play a key role in keeping our people connected, productive, and supported. Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, you will work closely with managers and team members across the business, delivering exceptional technical support and maintaining a reliable computing environment. This is a hands-on opportunity where you'll troubleshoot issues, support network infrastructure, deploy new technology, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the overall employee experience.

 

A day in the life:

  • Provide first-line technical support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and system issues in a timely manner.
  • Manage incidents and service requests through the ticketing system, ensuring accurate documentation and SLA compliance.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computer hardware, peripherals, and software applications.
  • Perform system upgrades, software updates, and security patching activities.
  • Support LAN, WAN, and WLAN environments, including troubleshooting connectivity and network-related issues.
  • Deploy and configure new laptops, workstations, mobile devices, and user accounts in line with security requirements.
  • Maintain IT security standards through user access management, malware protection, backups, and policy compliance.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve IT processes, service delivery, and operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and accessible work environment where all Flighties feel welcomed, respected, and supported to thrive.

 

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience in an IT Helpdesk, Service Desk, Desktop Support, or similar technical support environment.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting users, ICT systems, and multi-site technology environments.
  • Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN, WLAN infrastructure, networking fundamentals, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Experience supporting routers, switches, wireless access points, and network connectivity.
  • Proficiency supporting Windows, macOS, and common business software applications.
  • Strong understanding of IT security standards, controls, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
