Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Equipment Maintenance Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the Equipment Maintenance Manager, the role involves responsibilities for activities of personnel engaged in the troubleshooting, repairing and maintenance of manufacturing equipment in order to attain goals consistent with cost, quality, and delivery requirements.

What a typical day looks like:

• Area manager in a CFT team.
• Check and calibrate equipment and ensure it is repeatable and accurate.
• Install new equipment.
• Respond immediately to equipment breakdowns.
• Keep informed of production plans and progress of the plan.
• Organize teams or people to ensure 24-hour coverage.
• Work on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic or computer systems.
• By troubleshooting, identify machine faults and Work on MTTR and MTBF.
• Performs preventive maintenance at specified intervals and schedules.
• Follow up on your Minutes and close out actions on the corresponding equipment engineering platforms (SMT & BKN).

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in similar position in electronic manufacturing environment.
• Intermediate English communication skills (verbal and Written).
• Experiences in SMT, PTH &PCBA.
• Knowledge in preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance.
• Experience in automatic component insertion machines.
