Material Handler - 2nd shift

Flexco, a leading global manufacturer, is seeking a 2nd Shift Material Handler to work, Monday - Thursday, (2:00 PM - 11:30 PM) and Fridays (2:00 PM – 6:00 PM) in our state-of-the-art, air-conditioned facility. The chosen candidate would be responsible for operating a forklift within a manufacturing environment, pulling work orders from several different departments.

2nd Shift Materials Handlers at Flexco can expect a starting compensation of between $20.00 and $25.00, or more, depending on skills and experience.
Purpose:
To pull and stage all production orders ahead of welding, CNC, and Punch Press work cells. To aid in the removal of items from said areas to the outside vendor processing areas. To help in keeping shelves in the assembly areas filled and moving items from urethane and overflow to shipping in a timely manner.
What you will need:
- GED or 1+ years of experience.
- Experience driving forklifts
- Ability to attain a forklift license.
- Ability to attain overhead crane operator certification.
- Plans and organizes own work. Work effects others. Prioritizes own work.
- Job instructions or recognized procedures are readily available for assigned work.
What you will be doing:
- 10 drop zones with 20 – 40 daily pick ups. Moving finished materials.
- Pull work orders for Machine Shop, welding, CNC and component part materials.
- Transfer material/ Fixed locations.
- Assist Receiving as time permits.
- Insure accurate inventory by weighing/ counting all parts going into inventory.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement and Suggestion System as required.
