We have a unique work environment where you're trained to work every position in the restaurant. From the register, to the grill, to morning prep and evening close, our crew members become a team working in all aspects of the restaurant.

We have an open kitchen experience so it's fun and it's loud with lots of team communication. The crew's burger creation is part of the customer experience.

• Ability To Work At A Fast Pace Our kitchen's have a lot going on and there's lots of on-the-line communication and job rotation. It's not for everybody.
• Good Communication - Our crew is vocal and supports and works with each other on what's happening real-time during each shift.
• Love For Burgers and Classic Rock and Roll - We make some of the best burgers and fries in the biz and do it to the sounds of classic rock and roll. Yes, singing is encouraged.
• Caring About Your Teammates - Always working for the success of your team.
• Able to learn & follow company standards, policies and procedures.
• Reliable form of transportation to get to work at least 15 minutes PRIOR to the start of your shift.
• We pay more if you have a car and can get to multiple locations.

*1986: The first Five Guys location opens in Arlington, VA.

*1986 - 2001: Five Guys opens five locations around the DC metro-area and perfected their business of making burgers… and starts to build a cult-like following.

  • 2002: Five Guys decides DC metro-area residents shouldn't be the only ones to experience their burgers and start to franchise in Virginia and Maryland.
  • 2003: Five Guys sells out of franchise territory within 18 months and starts to open the rest of the country for franchise rights.
  • 2003 - 2012: Five Guys expands to over 1,000 locations in the U.S. and Canada.
  • In July 2013, Five Guys opens the first location outside of North America in London, England.
  • Our International HQ in Amsterdam, NL opened in 2016.
  • Today, we have more than 1,900 locations open in North America, Canada, UK, Middle East, Europe, APAC and growing.
