About The Role: This role is currently remote, and the position's core hours are North American. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Application Support role - Integrations Specialist (Tier 2) is responsible for providing day-to-day technical support and maintenance for integration applications in a production environment. This role focuses on ensuring seamless data exchange, high system availability, and timely issue resolution across various applications and interfaces.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of integration technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, business users, and third-party vendors.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily production support for integration of applications and related systems.
  • Monitor, identify, analyze, and resolve issues related to integration processes, data transfer, and application performance.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure timely, effective resolution while minimizing business impact.
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams (development, operations, infrastructure) and third-party vendors to diagnose and resolve integration-related problems.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring incidents and implement preventive measures.
  • Apply patches, upgrades, and new releases to integration platforms and related systems as necessary.
  • Maintain proper documentation of incidents, resolutions, and system configurations.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand integration requirements and support business continuity during production incidents.

Key Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of integration technologies such as APIs (REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, Web Services).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Nice to Have:

  • Proven experience in application or production support, preferably in a role focused on integrations.
  • Familiarity with database technologies (SQL, MongoDB).
  • Exposure to integration platforms such as MuleSoft or similar middleware tools.
  • Basic understanding of HTML debugging and XSLT transformations.
  • Experience with ITIL-based support processes or service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
