Team Lead Operations

40%: Serve as a subject matter expert on the ACL Base team, supporting the ACL Base Operations Manager in training and mentoring ACL Base team for goal achievement.

30%: Oversee the daily ACL Base workflow, ensuring accuracy and turnaround time, compiling daily reports outlining volume, productivity, and priorities.   Track and report daily accountabilities and KPIs for all ACL Base team members.  Review and approve team timecards.

20%: Manage communication and the delivery of services to key Vehicle customers.   

20%: Collaborate with other groups, to include Customer Success, State Specialists, IRP and Permits Specialists, and/or Fuel & Mileage team members on appropriate prioritization and servicing of customer portfolio. 

Job Qualifications:                                             Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years related operations and/or transportation experience or equivalent.

Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications: 

• Basic understanding of operations production and workflow management
• Strong communication skills (presentation, written, verbal)   
• Experience compiling and analyzing data for business consumption
• Strong analytical skills and desire to bring change management processes to organization
• Excellent Excel skills for data manipulation and presentation, including ability to use formulas
• Passion for coaching and service delivery, with track record of  working with customers and colleagues to achieve shared goals
• Attention to detail
• Observable decision-making skills
• Results-driven and reliable
• Willingness to serve as a unit mentor and passion for customer service
• Desire to work on baseline supervisory skills

Physical Requirements:

This role is largely a sedentary in nature and involves sitting for long periods of time. Requires the ability to hear and talk as well as to see data and adjust visual focus for computer and paper tasks.  Read, type, lift and/or carry equipment and files up to 20 pounds, and walk, bend or stand as necessary.

Supervisory:

Role includes the management of unit direct reports (with guidance and oversight from Manager, Operations) including approving time records, performance management, team member development, providing coaching and feedback, training, and resolving complaints/issues. Number of direct reports generally includes 3 to 10 team members.

Working Environment:                                                                            

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, calculators, filing cabinets and fax machines.

The hourly range for this position is approximately $22-25/hr.
