Are you an engineer with a genuine interest in technology and looking for an opportunity to grow in an international company? Firefly is now looking for a Technical Project Engineer (TPL) to join our team in Genoa. This is a varied role where you will combine technical project management, engineering, customer support and collaboration with colleagues across Europe.

About the role

As a Technical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical execution of customer projects – from order to commissioning. You will work closely with Sales, Production, Service and our customers to ensure high-quality project delivery.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Managing projects from order to commissioning

  • Taking technical responsibility throughout the project lifecycle

  • Coordinating with Sales, Production, Service and customers

  • Preparing technical calculations, including hydraulic and CO₂ calculations

  • Creating and updating 3D/CAD drawings and system documentation

  • Supporting customer visits and technical meetings

  • Updating supervision systems

  • Providing technical support to installation partners and customers when needed

The position includes approximately 35 travel days per year. During your first year, you will travel more frequently to Poland and Sweden for onboarding and training.

Who are you?

We believe you have:

  • A technical education or experience from process industries or electrical installation

  • A strong technical interest and willingness to develop

  • Knowledge of electrical systems (low and/or high voltage)

  • Experience with signal systems

  • Experience with CAD or other design software

  • Good communication skills in English and Italian
