Summary
The Product Engineer acts as the key technical interface between customers and the Product & Process Engineering (PCE) team. This role is responsible for managing the full product lifecycle from RFQ to end-of-life while ensuring successful manufacturing execution, product quality, and customer satisfaction. The role also serves as a subject matter expert (SME) on the production floor, working directly with Manufacturing Technicians to support operations, resolve technical issues, and ensure adherence to defined standards and processes.

Key Responsibilities
•  Act as primary technical liaison for assigned customers.
•  Translate customer requirements into engineering and manufacturing specifications.
•  Ensure timely resolution of technical issues and clear communication across teams.
•  Provide hands-on technical support to Manufacturing Technicians on the production floor.
•  Troubleshoot production issues and support root cause analysis.
•  Develop, maintain, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
•  Train and support technicians on SOP adherence.
•  Drive process standardization and continuous improvement.
•  Manage Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) during production.
•  Support product introduction, ramp-up, and phase-out activities.
•  Analyze RFQs, drawings, BOMs, and specifications.
•  Maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Approved Vendor Lists (AVLs) in SAP.
•  Ensure BOM accuracy, version control, and ECN updates in SAP
•  Support data integrity for manufacturing and supply chain operations.
•  Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) and Production Validation Testing (PVT).
•  Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, manufacturing, supply chain).

Basic Qualifications
•  Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
•  Experience with SMT, PCB assembly, or high-volume manufacturing
•  Strong communication and problem-solving skills
•  Flexible and able to support production environment needs

Preferred Qualifications
•  3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering (electronics preferred)
•  Experience with SAP (BOM management preferred)

Education and Experience
•  Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
