Fenwick & West is seeking a mid-level Litigation Associate to join our cutting-edge practice. The role supports a collaborative team of 150+ litigators across offices, handling sophisticated disputes for technology and life sciences clients—from startups to Fortune 50. You’ll help build and execute strategy on high-stakes matters that shape the future of tech and science.

What youll do

  • Contribute to management and litigation of matters across copyright, trademark, trade secret, consumer class action, and/or complex commercial litigation.
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery documents.
  • Manage discovery, fact development, and coordination with clients and expert witnesses.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across Fenwick’s offices to develop case strategy and trial readiness.
  • Support trial preparation and advocacy, including exhibit preparation and witness coordination.

What Fenwick & West is looking for

  • 3–5 years of litigation experience, specifically in copyright, trademark, trade secret, consumer class action, and/or complex commercial litigation.
  • Active Bar member in the working jurisdiction or eligible to waive into the next bar exam.
  • Experience at a leading corporate firm (top AmLaw) and strong academic credentials (top law school or high GPA).
  • Industry experience in technology and/or life sciences disputes.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to handle critical or complex disputes.
