Hours: Monday–Friday, 9-5pm

As our Customer Host, you’ll be the welcoming face of Fedcap’s Guildford office — greeting customers, setting them up at our computer stations, and ensuring everything runs smoothly day to day. No two days will be the same: one moment you’ll be helping someone register for a programme, the next you’ll be supporting colleagues, organising meeting rooms, or keeping the coffee machine spotless!
You’ll make sure every visitor feels seen, supported, and valued — creating a friendly, professional environment where everyone can thrive.

What You’ll Do
- Welcome and sign in customers and visitors, offering a professional and friendly first impression.
- Manage the reception area and respond to first-line enquiries, directing people to the right colleagues or activities.
- Support with general office administration and manage room bookings.
- Share information on local events and opportunities to help customers on their journey.
- Build rapport and engage proactively with visitors to make sure they feel comfortable and supported.
About You
- A natural people person — confident, warm, and approachable.
- Experience in customer service, ideally in a front-facing or busy environment.
- Great communication and organisational skills with a calm, professional approach.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident using IT systems.
- Positive, adaptable, and motivated to make a real difference.
