About this role

We are currently seeking two (2) highly skilled and experienced RAT Scaffolder Foremen with IRATA Level 3 certification for an upcoming offshore project on Saipem’s FPSO unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervision & Leadership: Lead and manage the rope access and scaffolding teams on-site, ensuring all activities are executed safely, on schedule, and according to project specifications.

  • Safety Management: Act as the primary IRATA Level 3 safety supervisor. Perform risk assessments, implement rescue plans, and ensure strict compliance with Saipem’s HSE standards and international regulations.

  • Technical Oversight: Oversee the safe erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding structures via rope access.

  • Reporting: Maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, and equipment inspections. Coordinate directly with the Offshore Construction Manager.

Mandatory Requirements

  • IRATA Level 3 Certification (Valid and in good standing).

  • Certified Scaffolder / Scaffolding Supervisor qualification.

  • Proven Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of experience acting as a Foreman/Supervisor on offshore oil & gas projects, specifically on FPSO or similar offshore vessels.

  • Prior Saipem Project Experience is highly advantageous.

  • Valid Offshore Certificates: BOSIET/FOET, CA-EBS, and a valid Offshore Medical Certificate (e.g., OGUK/ENG1).

  • Language: Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
