Technical Skills & Experience

  • Certified IRATA Rope Access Technician (Level 1 / 2 / 3)

  • Experience working on FPSO, offshore platforms, and marine facilities

  • Rope access inspection, maintenance, repair, and installation activities

  • Structural inspection and maintenance of offshore assets

  • Mechanical maintenance and minor repairs using rope access techniques

  • Surface preparation, coating inspection, and corrosion control support

  • Safe use and inspection of rope access equipment and PPE

  • Rescue preparedness and emergency response according to IRATA procedures

  • Reading and interpretation of technical drawings, work packs, method statements, and risk assessments

  • Familiarity with Permit to Work (PTW), LOTO, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Toolbox Talks

  • Working safely at height, over water, and in confined spaces

  • Knowledge of offshore HSE regulations and international safety standards

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform rope access operations in accordance with IRATA International standards and company procedures

  • Execute inspection, maintenance, repair, and installation activities on FPSO structures and equipment

  • Carry out routine inspection of rope access equipment before and after use

  • Ensure safe setup, operation, and dismantling of rope access systems

  • Support mechanical, structural, piping, and maintenance teams during offshore activities

  • Identify and report unsafe conditions, hazards, and non-conformities

  • Participate in rescue drills and maintain emergency response readiness

  • Complete work reports, inspection records, and maintenance documentation

  • Ensure full compliance with HSE policies, PTW requirements, and offshore safety procedures

  • Attend daily toolbox talks, safety meetings, and pre-job risk assessments

Contract Details

  • Start date: ASAP

  • Location: Offshore – Brazil

  • Rotation: 45 days on / 45 days off

  • Working schedule: 12 hours/day, 7 days/week

  • Contract type: 6-month + 6-month extendable contract
