Senior Java Engineer (Portal) - Zagreb | Hybrid

We're growing F24's Engineering Centre of Excellence in Zagreb and are looking for a Senior Java Engineer to join our expanding engineering team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on mission-critical SaaS products used by 5,500+ organisations worldwide, helping organisations communicate and respond when reliability matters most.

You'll join a collaborative team where you'll build modern cloud-native applications, work alongside experienced engineers, and have plenty of opportunity to develop your technical skills while contributing to products that make a real impact.

Your tasks

What you'll be doing:

• Designing and building scalable, secure cloud-native applications
• Leading technical discussions and architectural decisions
• Owning features end-to-end from requirements through to production
• Mentoring and supporting other engineers
• Driving code quality, best practices and continuous improvement
• Working closely with Product Owners to deliver high-quality software

We're looking for:

✔️ Min 4+ years' commercial software engineering experience

✔️ Strong Java, Spring Boot and Angular expertise

✔️ Experience building cloud-native, distributed systems

✔️ Strong understanding of REST APIs, security and CI/CD

✔️ Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes

✔️ Someone who enjoys technical ownership, mentoring others and solving complex engineering challenges

The salary for this role is paying up to €48k gross annually
