Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Mortgage & Commercial Lending Support Specialist to assist in managing a diverse pipeline of residential, business, and commercial lending transactions.
This role will support a broker working across:
- Residential home lending
- Commercial property finance
- Business and start-up lending (including financials and cash flow forecasting)
Key Responsibilities:
Support both residential and commercial loan applications end-to-end
Assist with:
- Commercial loan preparation and structuring support
- Review of financial documents (company financials, BAS, cash flow forecasts)
- Business loan documentation and submission packs
- Asset finance transactions
- Self-employed borrower scenarios
- Combined residential and commercial applications
- Prepare lender-ready submission documents and supporting summaries
- Identify gaps or risks in deal structures and escalate appropriately
- Maintain accurate and well-structured client and deal records
- Assist in improving internal workflows and file management systems
- Strong analytical capability
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Clear and professional communication
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
- 3–7+ yrs experience in mortgage broking support
- Strong experience in Australian residential lending
- Demonstrated exposure to: Commercial lending, business lending, or asset finance
- Ability to interpret: Financial statements, Income structures for self-employed borrowers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of attention to detail and ownership
- Direct experience supporting Australian commercial brokers or lenders preferred
- Exposure to SME or business lending environments preferred
- Experience working across multi-product lending scenarios preferred
