As an Expert Project Subcontracting - Electrical (m/f/d) in Procurement & Subcontract Management, you will take ownership of complex electrical work packages across the full project lifecycle, from tendering and execution to successful project close-out. Become part of our diverse, international team and help deliver large-scale projects. We are currently looking for a motivated professional to join our projects.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for the tendering, negotiation, award, and administration of subcontract and supply contracts with values in the multi-million-euro range.
  • Commercial evaluation of subcontractor bids and preparation of well-founded award recommendations.
  • Negotiation and execution of contracts.
  • Commercial management of subcontracts.
  • Monitoring and performance tracking of subcontractors
  • Identification of risks and performance deviations through proactive planning and close stakeholder communication.
  • Review, evaluation, and management of change orders and claims.
  • Close collaboration with the Project Management team and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Continuous process optimization through regular feedback and the implementation of lessons learned.
  • Regular reporting to the Project Procurement Manager.

Show your expertise

  • Completed degree in Business Administration, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; alternatively, a commercial qualification/training combined with relevant professional experience.
  • Several years’ experience in project management in large-scale projects, preferably in the construction or plant engineering industry.
  • Solid knowledge in a relevant electrical engineering discipline.
  • Understanding of project execution models (EPC, EPCM, etc.) is an advantage.
  • Very good IT skills, particularly MS Office and ERP systems (ideally SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, RIB iTWO).
  • Knowledge of handling contracts in accordance with VOB, BGB or HOAI is a plus.
  • Fluent German language skills and good written and spoken English skills.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel nationally, with on-site work depending on the project phase.
  • Excellent communication skills and resilience under pressure.
  • Decisiveness, openness to change, strong interpersonal skills, and a solution-oriented working style.
