Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager to lead and advance our die and mold machining operations. This role requires strong hands-on technical expertise in CNC machining, programming, and process optimization, combined with leadership experience in managing CAM development teams.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in the metal machining industry
- Strong background in CNC programming for milling and turning
- Experience with CNC machine controls such as FANUC, Mitsubishi, and Heidenhain
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical education
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a machining environment
Key Responsibilities
- Develop machine shop applications in collaboration with the IT team
- Design and implement CNC macro programs with a focus on automation and efficiency
- Lead, manage, and mentor the CAM programming team
- Provide technical guidance and support for CAM development initiatives
- Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day technical issues in the machine shop
- Continuously improve machining processes, methods, and productivity
- Support overseas operations through occasional short-term travel assignments
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary range: $70,000 – $150,000 (based on experience)
