About the Role
The MST Supervisor to lead and support MST teams delivering intensive, evidence-based services to youth and families. This role is ideal for a clinical leader who enjoys developing staff, supporting work with youth and families, and driving strong outcomes in the community, while maintaining fidelity to the MST model.
The MST Supervisor provides clinical and administrative oversight to 1–2 MST teams (2–4 therapists each). In this role, they support therapists in delivering effective, family-focused interventions and ensure alignment with MST principles and Medicaid standards.
- Provide structured weekly individual and group supervision focused on quality, outcomes, and MST fidelity
- Guide clinical work using the MST analytic process
- Ensure therapists maintain appropriate caseloads of 5–6 families
- Manage referrals and support timely family engagement
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and referral sources
- Partner with MST Experts to ensure model fidelity and ongoing development

Compensation
This role is compensated on a salaried basis, providing consistent earnings aligned with the responsibilities and expectations of the position.
- Compensation: $57,918 - $83,441
- Competitive sign-on bonus and performance incentives
Placement within the range is based on licensure level, education, and experience.

Responsibilities
- Provide weekly individual and group supervision to ensure quality care and adherence to MST principles.
- Guide clinical work using the MST analytic process and support effective interventions with families.
- Manage referrals, caseloads (5–6 families per therapist), and ensure timely family engagement.
- Build relationships with community partners and maintain alignment with MST standards and Medicaid requirements.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
- Must be either fully licensed (LPC, LISW-CP, LMFT) or have two years of MST experience
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with youth and families with complex behavioral needs
- Experience with family treatment models (structural, strategic, functional, or MST)
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills, with the ability to coach and develop clinical staff
